An icon of cinema in the 80's and beyond, please welcome Steve Guttenberg to the first ever Rewind Washington convention on March 28th and 29th in Puyallup. Rewind Washington will feature guests from Film, Television, Music, and Sports.

Steve Guttenberg is an actor known for so many leading roles in some of the most popular and enduring films of the 1980s. In his early career, he was cast in the hit comedy Diner (1982), but his breakthrough to widespread fame came with the massive hit Police Academy (1984), in which he portrayed the mischievous recruit Carey Mahoney.

The film's enormous box-office success spawned a franchise, with Guttenberg reprising the role in sequels through Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987). He followed this with projects including Cocoon (1985), and the innovative artificial intelligence story Short Circuit (1986). That same period saw him cast in The Bedroom Window (1987) and the blockbuster Three Men and a Baby (1987). He later returned for its sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady (1990).

Guttenberg has continued to build an extensive resume across film and television, appearing in over 50 movies in both major releases and independent projects. Other credits include roles in The Big Green (1995), Woody Allen's Rifkin's Festival (2020), and various TV guest spots on shows like Veronica Mars, Community, Party Down, and Law & Order. His work spans genres from slapstick franchises to thoughtful dramas, reflecting a prolific and adaptable talent that has entertained audiences for decades.
