Jimmy Hart is a professional wrestling manager, composer, musician, and occasional actor born in Jackson, Mississippi. He began his career in music as a member of the 1960s rock band The Gentrys, whose hit "Keep On Dancing" reached the Billboard Top 10.

Transitioning to professional wrestling in the mid-1970s in Memphis under Jerry Lawler's influence, Hart became a legendary heel manager, forming The First Family stable and managing stars like The Honky Tonk Man, Greg Valentine, and others. His flamboyant style, megaphone antics, and colorful jackets made him icon in the wrestling world.

In the 1980s, Hart joined the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), managing high-profile talents including The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart), "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, The Natural Disasters, and The Mountie. He later worked in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), managing The Nasty Boys, Hulk Hogan, and The Giant. Hart composed numerous entrance theme songs for wrestlers in both promotions.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 as a manager, and he remains signed to WWE under a Legends deal and has appeared in various independent promotions.
