**Edgar Martinez will only be at the show on Saturday, March 28th from 11am-2pm**

Known affectionately as "Gar" or "Papi," Edgar Martínez is widely regarded as one of the greatest designated hitters in Major League Baseball history and a Seattle icon. He spent his entire 18-year career with the Seattle Mariners from 1987 to 2004. Edgar posted a career .312 batting average, .418 on-base percentage, and .515 slugging percentage over 2,055 games. He amassed 2,247 hits, including a franchise-record 514 doubles, 309 home runs, 1,261 RBI, and 1,283 walks.

Edgar earned seven All-Star selections, five Silver Slugger Awards, and two American League batting titles (1992 and 1995). In 1995, he led the AL with a .356 average and 121 runs scored, while topping the majors in doubles (52), OBP (.479), and OPS (1.109), finishing third in MVP voting and powering the Mariners to their first AL West title. His iconic "The Double" in Game 5 of the 1995 ALDS against the Yankees—a clutch two-run hit that sent Seattle to the ALCS—remains one of baseball's most memorable moments, helping secure a new stadium for the franchise. He also led the AL in RBI with 145 in 2000 and won the Outstanding Designated Hitter Award five times (the award now bears his name).

In 2019, Edgar was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame with 85.4% of the vote, cementing his legacy as a Mariners icon and one of the purest hitters of his era.
