Scott Patterson

Before acting, Scott played professional minor league baseball for seven years (1980–1986), reaching Triple-A levels with teams affiliated with the Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees. His film debut came in Intent to Kill (1992), followed by roles in Little Big League (1994), Three Wishes (1995), and Rhapsody in Bloom (1998). Seinfeld fans will remember Scott as "sponge-worthy" as he guest starred in one of its all-time great episodes.

Patterson achieved widespread fame as the diner owner Luke Danes on the beloved series Gilmore Girls (2000–2007), a role he reprised in the Netflix miniseries Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016).

He carved out a niche in the horror genre with his portrayal of FBI Agent Peter Strahm in Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), and Saw VI (2009), and starred as Gary Tolchuck on Aliens in America (2007–2008) and Michael Buchanan on The Event (2010–2011). Other credits include voicing James Gordon in Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018).

Currently, Patterson stars as Harry "Sully" Sullivan in the ongoing series Sullivan's Crossing (2023–present).
